Claresholm really does have it all!!

Located just 1 hour south of Calgary, 50 minutes to Lethbridge, and 1 1/2hrs to Crows Nest Pass & BC border. Only 1 1/2 hours to USA Border.

Claresholm has a population of aprox. 3600 with an elevation of 3636 ft. Sunny days can be enjoyed almost everyday in all seasons. The temperature is typically at least 2 degrees higher in Claresholm than in Calgary. The town is located on Hwy. #2. The Pine Coulee Reservoir supplies Claresholm with our water source which is a very valuable resource that other small towns in rural Alberta do not have.

This town is full of history as it is known for having had the pleasure of boasting that one of the founding 5 famous ladies to bring women voting rights in Canada resided right here in Claresholm as a child and adult. That famous lady was named Louise Crummy McKinney and Claresholm has just built a state of the art brand new library and dedicated it in her name.

We have a Museum that hosts many replicas of past times and stories are told by the local old timers of how different life in Claresholm was 100 years ago compared to the bustling town it is today.

We have 3 hospitals and there are 12 churches of all denominations, a large attractive community centre, a very well equipped agriplex for all you 4H enthusiasts, and we have a state of the art aquatic centre along with a 12 hole golf course.
